I had a great conversation with Rob A about how he works with LSAs (Learning Support Assistant). I was confused - what is there to say to them? Why advise people who spend their lives working with SEN about what they should do with SEN? Sometimes it is simply a matter of dividing up the labour. It also depends on the person themselves. Sometimes, the LSA (Learning Support Assistant) will get on very well with the pupil. Sometime there will not be so strong a relationship. Sometimes, an SLA will just do the work for the pupil, which is not necessarily helpful for the pupil.
