What are the Teachers' Standards?

The Teachers' Standards form a framework to guide people as they learn to become teachers. They were introduced in 2012, two years into the Cameron-Clegg 2010 Government. Their aim was to "set a clear baseline of expectations for the professional practice and conduct of teachers" (Gov.uk)
